A few days ago I posted an article about PTC sites. There I mentioned that most of them are scams and never pay yo, or the payout limit is almost impossible to reach. So, whant to know my experience with PTC sites? As you know, it wasn’t only a PTC site but it also offered Paid-to-Promote, Paid-to-Surf and Paid-to-Join. So you may think that the payout limit of 10$ is easy to reach. Well…ye and no. If you only do the PTC thing, than it can take some time to get 10$, but if you do the other things as well the time can me decreased. But what happens when you do reach the payout limit.

All you have to do is click on “Send Payment” and the money will be transfered in your paypal account. This can take a few days for the admin to process the payment but it should be done in about 2 working days. At least in theory. The truth is that you never get payed.

I waited more than a week and no money was sent to me. So what do we learn from this? Don’t join PTC sites and waste your time with them. Instead of doing this I strongly recommend making a website and start promoting it. You don’t need much money to begin making one (actually you can start with no investment at all). I know that it may be hard to make one and needs time and work, but you can learn a lot more money this way.

I know that we all want to earn money on the internet. We can start making a blog or a website but this evolves writing content, marketing our site and it takes time. We all heard this many times: “Get paid for doing something you do every day!” or “Why click for free?!” But are PT sites really worth the trouble?

For those that don’t know this, PTC stands for “Paid to Click”. Actually these sites show you some ads, you click on them and you get paid for every ad that you click on. There are many websites that pretend to do just that, but most of them are scams. The pay limit is impossible to reach or you don’t get payed because they ban you for some stupid reason when you are just a few cents away from the payout limit.

I decided to make a little experiment and joint one of this sites. First of all I must mention that I don’t know if it is a scam or not.Anyway, I joined one such website. It gave me a generous 1$ bonus for joining and the payout is only 10$ (sounds easy to reach). My first impression wasn’t very good. The design of the website is plain and unprofessional. I loged in to find out that it also offers Paid-to-Manual Surf, Paid-to-Promote, Paid-to-Signup and Paid-to-Play Games. At first I thought that it would be very easy to reach the 10$ payout limit. I started clicking on the ads they show me. I got 200 points for this + 11 cents. 200 points are worth 0,2$. So basically I got 0,31$ from clicking the ads. Then I went to try the manual surf, but I only get 0,5 POINTS fro one website I see. So I decided it was a waste of time.

Paid-to-Promote has the same rate: 0,5 points for each use that accesses the link they give you. Paid to join has up to 150 points for site joined, but you have to give a real email address so you are very vulnerable to spam. Last but not least I went to play games. Here I had a surprise. There were no games to be played, so no points from here.

I continued to do only the Paid-to-Click thing for several days. I currently have only 7,979$ I will continue to do this until I reach 10$ to see what happens.

As a conclusion: Don’t to PTC. It takes time and the money you get is very low. Start a website/blog, promote it, put adsense and you will make a lot more.
