This is my first post on this blog. As a first post don’t expect to be much because I don’t know how to start. This is my first and only blog so don’t expect me to bee a top writer from the start. Although I do have some experience in writing content for a website, I still have a lot to learn.

Anyway, as a first post I want to post something tha you guys will like and make you come back again. That is why I decided to post here a few links that are useful and that helped me a lot in my journey through the beautiful jungle of the internet.

I won’t post pages to scripts like Joomla or Wordpress because I think that you guys already know these. What I am going to do is post some more interesting websites, websites that will help you to learn and start your own little website.

If you want to start a successful website you will first of all need a domain name. If you are at the beginning, than you don’t have money to buy one. This is where ddBoard comes into action. It is forum where you will get points for every new replay to a post, for every new thread you start and for every pool you vote in. Also, thanks to the Incentives forum, you can do offers for other users and you will receive more points. These offers vary from just registering somewhere to making websites or writing content. After you got all the points needed you donate the points to the admin, start a new thread in the Domain Requests, and you get your domain absolutely free.

Now that you have your domain you will need a host for your website. There are a lot of paid hosting companies that offer really good packages, but like I said, you don’t have money yet. This is where ej.am steps in. I tried a lot of free hostings but none offer such a good uptime and support like ej.am does. The offer the latest version of cPanel and all the space and bandwith that you need at the beginning.

You have your domain name and you have your host. You uploaded your website and you have content, but you need one more thing to do. You will need to advertise your website if you want traffic to it. You can use all of the above forums and any other forum you are active in, but you won’t find better help and support in any other place then DigitalPoint. You won’t just advertise your website there, but you will also learn all there is to know about websites and the internet. And if you need help, there are a lot of members that know the answer and won’t hesitate to replay to your threads.
