WordPress 2.5 is Launched

All bloggers it is time for a party. WordPress launched the new version, 2.5. Don’t have it yet? What are you waiting for? Ohh…you want a review. Well, I have upgraded my blog to the new 2.5 and here is my impression.

Upgrading was really easy. All I had to do is follow this link: Upgrade to WordPress 2.5 Everything was really easy and no problems acured during upgrade. The site actually worked even without the last step but I strongly recommend you also update the database to make it run faster, smoother and without any problems. But what were my impressions?

The only changes that the admin sees id when it logs in the admin panel. It is more organized and easy to use. The design is also very good. Managing comments is made a lot more easy with the new design that has each comment clearly separated from the rest. Writing a post is just like in the old version, but the writing page is also more organized and with a smoother design. Also the upload now is much more easy to use (even if it will take some time for you to find it) because you can now select multiple files to be uploaded at once. Also you will see the an upload bar for each file so you know exactly how much if the file is uploaded.. Also a good thing is that you can now edit the Permlink of the post right from the editor.

There aren’t many changes that can be clearly seen when you first log in, but the code is made better, everything is more organized and it looks better to
