Before we start you must know what the difference between a virus and a spywar. A virus infects your computer and starts to delete files and crash your system, but not before he duplicates itself and sends the copies to all your friends and other computers it can find. A spyware on the other hand doesn’t want to screw up your computer. He wants information. Spyware collects passwords, credit card numbers, email addresses and all kind of information the creator might need. It also duplicates itself without the innervation of the user and sends the copies to more people.

You don’t want this in your computer so there are many free tools that help you to prevent getting infected and also exterminate any virus or spyware that might infect your computer. First of all surf the internet safely. Install a good browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer 7,. Don’t use IE6 or lower because it has a bigger risk of getting infected. Also don’t surf warez websites or porn sites. All illegal websites have some tipe of virus on it. The creators make these websites because they wan people to access them, so the virus can spread itself. 3.Anti Spyware

If you get infected with a spyware, a spyware remover will help you a lot in keeping your information secure.
