Deep Space Frontier for Android

It has been about a month since I launched my new Android game: Deep space Frontier. But it had a few minor bugs and no Highscore system integration. Doe to lack of time I just managed to fix everything and I am proud to announce that Deep Space Frontier is now available for Android. Some of you may have already played the Flash version that is available on many game portals including Kongregate. Now, a port of that game is also available on most Android devices. The application is free and can be found at both Android Market and SlideMe Marketplace. Below you have the QR Code for the Android market and by clicking on the links in the previous sentence you will be taken to application’s page in the corresponding market. BMI & BMR Android Application

Just a few days ago I released a small Android app Called BMI&BMR Calculator. I know, this may seem old. There are a lot of BMI Calculators out there. What I decided is to also include BMR (Body Metabolism Rate) that can be used to calculate your daily calories needs. The app can be downloaded for free from SlideMe.org

The app got appreciated fast and it already got a FamousWhy Badge. I really appreciate the editor from FamousWhy for there support in my development and for reviewing my application. I strongly recommend there website for the grate reviews on most-have apps for different platforms: Windows, Linux, iPhone, Android, etc.

Witstech A81E Android 2.2 Tablet

In the past months the tablet has been in the media very often. Since Apple released the iPad, more and more companies struggled to release similar products that have a lot of function and a reasonable price. So far very few have succeeded. Most of the tablets that are released are from Chinese vendors and run an outdated OS on outdated hardware. But they discovered that if they want to sell there products they have to offer good quality products, upgrade there OS and support the community. So more and more Android 2.1 tablets emerged. But, only one company managed to release the first ever Android 2.2 tablet, a real iPad alternative. The tablet I am talking about is the WITS A81E, a tablet that is running Android 2.2 on a Cortex A8 processor at 600MHz. It has a 7″ touchscreen, 256MB RAM, 3D acceleration, supports 480p video and some 720p as well and best of all it runs Adobe Flash 10.1 out of the box. This way you can enjoy YouTube videos and play online games without any problems.

Optional, the Wits A81E can be equipped with a GPS module and used as a car GPS. There still are some minor problems (a few applications force close) but Wits promised an update very soon, and so far it did not disappointed. The tablet initially runned Android 2.1, but, as promised Wits released 2 Firmware updates to Android 2.2 and will do so further on. Now, the tablet can be bought with 2.2 out of the box and you can view the internet as you do on a computer. The price is 199$ and an extra 15$ will get you the GPS packed tablet.
